  TINA MURPHY, Fitness Instructor
Dimensions is proud to have certified AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association), instructor Tina Murphy on board staff.  She has been in the fitness business since 1979.  Among other accomplishments, she holds the 1987 title of Miss Orlando and was the overall winner of the 1987 Citrus Cup Open, both Central Florida bodybuilding competitions.  She was first certified by, and taught for, the Jazzercise corp and has been teaching in Mars Hill for Dimensions since 1998.  Tina enjoys bringing her talents and gift for motivation to Dimensions, teaching both aerobics, lightweight training, and personal training.  Classes are offered for students of all fitness levels.  You are sure to find a class suited for your needs.  Tina offers personalized sessions either on-going or a one-timer, to sharpen up your form. Tina began dancing at the age of four in South Carolina.  In 1966, her family moved to Mars Hill.  At age six, she joined Fletcher's school of Dance.  This began a lifetime of love for movement that continued with cheerleading and dance, all the way through school, to Mars Hill College.   She has taught through the years at several locations, including Golds Gym of Asheville and Vision Sports Gym.  Her background is quite varied in many forms of fitness.  She concentrates now on her aerobic and resistance training.  She loves sharing her unique style and love of fitness with Dimensions Studio and the community.
